Alan Wake was one of the best horror-thriller games when it first debuted in 2010. Since then quenching their thirst to kill the monsters with Alan, the fans were eagerly awaiting its sequel.

Well, Remedy Entertainment, the parent of Alan Wake, Quantum Break, Max Payne, and Control has good news. Alan Wake returns as Alan Wake Remastered in 4K, but it isn’t a sequel.

Don’t be disappointed, it’s the recreation of the entire game with some new expansions using the latest technology of 2021 for a more realistic experience in 4k.

But this time the complete package’s gonna be in episodes.

The protagonist, Alan Wake, who is the best-selling author embarks on a quest to find his missing wife in Bright Falls, a small town set up in Stephen King’s horror style.

And when the darkness creeps in, inanimate structures turn into dangerous monsters, people corrupted within their souls become shadow killers. Without the lights in town, all Alan has is his torch with a wearing-down battery that becomes the most needed tool of defense against the wicked creatures on the journey.

He needs to find the batteries along the journey in order to stay alive to find his wife. These nail-biting situations in the game are something that puts most of our senses to the ultimate test.

Remedy Entertainment announced the release of ‘remaster’ in an open letter from Sam Lake, creative director and face of Max Payne on The Sudden Stop, a community site that has been noble to the protagonist-Alan since 2012.

The company stated that the announcement was made on the platform to thank their passionate communities for their decade-long support.

Alan Wake Remastered will be published by Epic Games through their Epic Games Store and is scheduled for its launch on October 5th for PC, PlayStation, and Xbox.

Remedy Entertainment is working on an unannounced game, rumors say it is Alan Wake 2.0. However, we’ll know very soon.
