The Canadian software-giant BlackBerry is preparing to come back with a bang into the 5G smartphone race.
The brand’s survival was hanging on a thread after the conclusion of BlackBerry Mobile’s partnership with TCL in February. But recently the company has announced a brand new partnership with Onward Mobility and Foxconn Subsidiary FIH Mobile Limited.
The coalition of these 3 companies on the 19th of August revealed that they will be launching the BlackBerry 5G smartphone with a physical keyboard along with touch sensitivity.
BlackBerry 5G smartphone will be the first new launch of the company since the BlackBerry Mobile’s launch of Key 2 in 2018.
The collab has announced that they will be launching the all-new 5G smartphone with a physical keyboard in the first half of 2021 in North America and Europe.
These 5G devices will live up to the company’s decades-old reputation of strong and trusted security.
CEO of Onward Mobility, Peter Franklin said, “Enterprise professionals are eager for secure 5G devices that enable productivity, without sacrificing the user experience.”
“BlackBerry smartphones are known for protecting communications, privacy, and data. This is an incredible opportunity for Onward Mobility to bring next-generation 5G devices to market with the lacking of BlackBerry and FIH Mobile.” he also added in a report.
You may have not heard much about OnwardMobility before the company partnered with BlackBerry Mobile since it’s a new company that was founded by Arun Menon.

However, the fans of the brand are eagerly waiting to lay their hand on it. If everything goes as planned, this will be the first 5G smartphone by BlackBerry Mobile.
