Horizon Forbidden West :
Despite the pandemic, 2021 has been a rather exciting year for both fans and game developers.
From Resident Evil Village to Cyberpunk 2077, fans have had their fill of excitement. Well, 2022 is gearing up to be even bigger with new games like Stalker 2, Hogwart’s Legacy, Elden Ring, Starfield, Ghostwise: Tokyo, Lord of the Rings: Gollum, Gotham Knights, Rainbow Six Extraction, Kerbal Space Program 2, Sifu, Stray, and more waiting in the line. Most of them were postponed to 2022 due to the pandemic.
And the list got a new one. We could say that Sony in an interview with PlayStation Studios head Hermen Hulst hinted that Horizon Forbidden West which was slated for its release in 2021’s holiday season has been pushed further to 2022, but it hasn’t been officially confirmed by the company.

But according to a report from Bloomberg, the decision has been finalized by the company. Horizon Forbidden west will be rolling out for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5.
Fans who did not have either of these consoles were excited for the PC version of Horizon Forbidden West when the trailer was launched and were left disappointed.
As the release of Horizon Forbidden West is postponed to 2022, the launch of its PC version is pushed even further like its predecessor Horizon Zero Dawn’s PC version that was out after 3 long years of its official launch on consoles.
“Releasing games on PC will not come ever at the expense of building an exciting lineup of great console games,” said Hulst in a report.
Uncharted, the PlayStation-exclusive game is also headed for PC next year.
Well, all we can do now is stay safe and wait for the year 2022 with excitement.
