Samsung’s upcoming foldable flagship, the “Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7”, has reportedly made its first appearance on the Geekbench benchmarking platform, sparking fresh excitement ahead of its anticipated July debut. This alleged listing hints at some major performance upgrades, including the powerful Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset and Android 16.

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 Geekbench Listing Details

The listing, first spotted by tipster Abhishek Yadav (@yabhishekhd), reveals that the device carrying model number “SM-F966U” could be the US variant of the Galaxy Z Fold 7. According to the Geekbench database, the foldable scored an impressive “18,143 points on the OpenCL test”, signaling a major boost in GPU performance.

The device’s motherboard is identified with the codename “Sun”, accompanied by the Adreno 830 GPU. The CPU configuration includes an eight-core setup, clocked at a “base frequency of 3.53GHz” and a “peak frequency of 4.47GHz”, both of which align with the specifications of the “Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset”.

This would make the Galaxy Z Fold 7 one of Samsung’s most powerful foldables to date, sharing the same elite-tier silicon as the Galaxy S25 series.

Camera upgrades are also rumored, with a “200-megapixel main rear sensor” tipped to headline the camera setup. Samsung is also said to be refining its “under-display camera” technology for a more immersive foldable experience.

Storage options are likely to mirror previous generations, starting at “256GB”, with “512GB and 1TB variants” also expected. The base 12GB + 256GB configuration could be priced at approximately “Rs. 1,64,999”.
